Susie Housman graduated with a BS degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Boston University. Following college she worked at Jewish Vocational Service where she assisted in the resettlement of Soviet Immigrants.
After that she founded, owned and operated Health Clubs in the Boston area. She used her facilities as a means of helping other
Susie Housman graduated with a BS degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Boston University. Following college she worked at Jewish Vocational Service where she assisted in the resettlement of Soviet Immigrants.
After that she founded, owned and operated Health Clubs in the Boston area. She used her facilities as a means of helping others by providing after school programs and assistance to those in need. She frequently held fundraisers in her gyms raising money for various charities, focusing on domestic violence and aid to first responders in the aftermath of 911.
After selling her businesses she became very involved in 12 Step work, helping family members of alcoholics and addicts. She has sponsored many women along her spiritual journey and frequently speaks at treatment centers to provide help to struggling families.
She became A Course In Miracles student in 2019. She believes her purpose is to be of maximal service to others and to spread as much love as possible. She knows she has been led to 27 Sandwiches to make a difference in people’s lives.
She’s a loving mother of two, grandmother of four and is an avid sports fan!
Janet worked for other nonprofit organizations for over 20 years in the south
Florida area. She was the business manager and helped to build and adhere to
budgetary constraints. She retired in 2019 to pursue her own business venture.

that has grown into 27 Sandwiches. Janet has published one book, “Good
Morning DearHearts” and is working on two more writing projects.
The expansion of this nonprofit is definitely a passion project for her.

Sarah was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She moved to the United States when she was a teenager. She has volunteered her time as a science tutor, helping underprivileged kids prepare for the FCAT examination, and serving in non-profit organizations such as Spirituality for Kids.

She realizes the significance of kindness and giving back to our less fortunate brothers to help them alleviate their pain and suffering. Dr. Hertz earned his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University, an M.B.A. with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Nova Southeastern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from Florida International University.

I have been active in church as a worship leader, speaker, and youth activities coordinator. My fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha is involved in national programs like Hopeless People, Voteless People, Big Brothers, Big Sisters, March of Dimes, and Men of Tomorrow high school mentorship program. I have served on the board for the local United Negro College Fund campaign, Centura Parc Homeowners Association, and the Brazilian Food Drive initiative program in Pompano Beach.
I enjoy traveling, bowling, running, swimming, cooking, singing and outdoor activities.
